NurtureLog Beta Terms of Use
These beta terms document the intended product boundaries but should be reviewed for the jurisdictions where NurtureLog will be offered.
1. Agreement and operator
These Terms govern participation in the NurtureLog limited beta operated by Alphabcd LLC. By installing or using the beta, the adult caregiver agrees to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If the caregiver does not agree, they should not use the beta.
2. Adult caregiver use
NurtureLog is offered to parents and other adult caregivers. It is not intended for use by children. The person creating a family is responsible for inviting only authorized caregivers and selecting appropriate access.
3. Record-keeping only
NurtureLog is not a medical device, healthcare provider, emergency service, or substitute for professional medical judgment. It does not diagnose, prescribe, determine feeding amounts, or verify medical instructions. Caregivers must confirm care plans with qualified professionals and contact emergency services for urgent concerns.
4. Recordings and consent
The caregiver is responsible for obtaining permission from every person recorded and complying with recording and privacy laws that apply in every relevant location. A confirmation inside the app does not establish legal consent. Do not record when permission has not been obtained.
5. Beta risks
The beta is unfinished and may contain defects, interruptions, inaccurate reminders or transcripts, security issues, or data loss. Features may change or be removed. Caregivers should use test information initially and must maintain independent copies of information needed for care.
6. Accounts and security
Each caregiver must use their own account, protect their password and device, and avoid sharing invitation links publicly. The family owner is responsible for reviewing who has access. Suspected unauthorized access should be reported promptly to support@nuturelog.com.
7. Caregiver content
Caregivers retain responsibility for information they enter or share. They confirm that they have the right to provide that information and must not use NurtureLog to violate another person’s privacy, intellectual-property rights, or applicable law.
8. Acceptable use
Caregivers may not attempt to access another family’s records, interfere with security controls, reverse engineer the service where prohibited, upload malicious content, or use the beta for unlawful purposes.
9. Availability and termination
Alphabcd LLC may suspend the beta, revoke an invitation, or discontinue the service. A caregiver may stop using the beta at any time and may delete their account using the process described on the Support page.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the beta is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Applicable law may provide rights that cannot be waived. Before public release, Alphabcd LLC should obtain legal advice on appropriate limitations of liability and governing-law language.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as the beta changes. The effective date will be revised when updates are posted. Questions may be sent to support@nuturelog.com.
